John installs Level 2 EV chargers across the Monadnock Region: Tesla Wall Connectors, Wallbox, ChargePoint, Grizzl-E, JuiceBox, plus NEMA 14-50 outlets. Sized to your panel, sized to your driving, sized to whatever else you're going to plug in five years from now.
John looks at your panel, the run from panel to garage, and asks about your car, your daily driving, and what else you've got planned.
Itemized. Conduit run, materials, breaker, charger if you'd like John to supply it, permit, and labor. Usually same day.
Most installs are a half-day to full-day job. Conduit run cleanly along the wall or ceiling, breaker installed, charger mounted and commissioned.
John tests the charge cycle on your actual car and walks you through the charger's app if it has one.
For most modern EVs and a hardwired Level 2 charger, yes. A 50A or 60A circuit is the sweet spot. Smaller circuits (30A or 40A) work for some chargers but cut charge speed in half. John sizes it to your car and your charger, not to what's easy to install.
Either. Some customers buy the charger online and have John install it. Others have John supply and install. Both are fine. John has no kickback arrangement with any manufacturer.
Most installs are between three and six hours, depending on the run from your panel to the charger location. If the panel needs to be upgraded first, that's a separate day.
There's a federal credit for residential EV charger installs (currently 30% up to $1,000. Confirm with your tax preparer for the current year). John provides the itemized invoice you need to claim it. Ask John what state or utility offerings are active right now.
Free written estimates. Most replies come back the same day, next morning at the latest.
